Sylvia Kaye had been seen hitchhiking not long before she's found dead, and Morse is called in to investigate. This has been my first reading of Inspector Morse books.

I remember walking or driving the same streets that came to life in this book and I was immediately captivated by the way he brought out the atmosphere of the city. A bit of sensuality in his books, but the crimes are always, crimes. EJA
